Sarah and Badr were married in the Bordeaux region, a colorful destination wedding in France for this couple from San Francisco. Sarah, originally from Ireland, and Badr, originally from Morocco and France, wanted to represent their cultures on this day with elegance and modernity. We opted for a very green venue, with an old-fashioned charm, like an Italian villa.
We organized and imagined the artistic direction of this wedding in 8 months, and the lovers contacted us in October for a summer wedding the following year. We were lucky to find this nugget of a venue still available on a weekend in June!

Planning & styling of this day
After preparations in the château’s salons and at the Gentleman’s billiard club for the groom, the ceremony took place in the grounds of the Domaine, among the hundred-year-old cypress and cedar trees of Lebanon. A pretty arch of flowers on the ground, colorful floral arrangements in the aisle, a spotlight with fans and parasols and a welcome refreshment with Moroccan tea and flavored waters awaited the guests.
Then it was on to cocktails with Irish and Moroccan touches, such as Guinness, Irish stew revisited, tajine-style chicken brochettes, etc… and of course so Frenchy champagne for our lovers. Colorful lounges and a bar styled for them in Arabic, Irish and English to personalize the moment.
The dinner for 90 people took place in the reception hall, where we added a little magic with lighting and colorful tableware. Night-blue plates, orange napkins, pale-blue water glasses, and candles and flowers in these shades.
The stationery was also well thought out, from the creation of the invitations we were in charge of to the D-day stationery and signage. A pretty table plan with escort cards was designed with a touch of pompoms in shades of sky blue and orange.
Our sweethearts enjoyed every moment of the day and more. The next day we organized a brunch by the pool with homemade burgers and BBQ kebabs, then in the evening we planned a “Last dinner” departure party in the venue’s pretty Italian-style courtyard. A white party with live pizza and wine.
