Mary and Ben live in New York, she’s American and he’s Scottish, but it was to France that their hearts fell to celebrate their spring wedding in a romantic french castle. Passionate about travel, the lovers wanted an elegant wedding, delicate and typically French gastronomy, modern design, fresh but couture, and to take their guests on an initiatory voyage to France.
Their wedding was planned and art-directed by Agence Charlotte Poésie in just a few months, in the romantic château of Saint-Loup in western France.

Wedding planning & styling
The wedding took place over 2 days, with Mary & Ben inviting their 50 guests to experience a spring wedding in a romantic french castle. A destination wedding, intimate, to enjoy each of their close friends and family, and to indulge themselves over these beautiful days. Mary & Ben chose to shortlist the number of guests in order to keep their budget in line with their expectations, especially when it came to styling and images. Indeed, our couple clearly understood that their wedding was above all about enjoying themselves and creating memories with their guests.
On the eve of the wedding, guests were offered a range of activities, followed by a welcome dinner in the château’s outdoor orangery. The next day, the exchange of vows took place in front of the château’s staircase, followed by dinner in the château’s grand salon and the presentation of the cake and the traditional festive champagne tower.
A wedding with hints of yellow and pink, spring flowers based on cherry blossom, and modern design with vegetables for the rehearsal dinner. Elegant, colorful tableware in perfect harmony with the stationery for these 2 days.
