Elsa & Pierre

Elsa & Pierre were married at the heart of their family estate, Château Clerc-Milon, a Bordeaux Grand Cru Classé. They wanted to bring together family and friends from the four corners of the globe, in a setting with tropical overtones. A luxurious wedding in the heart of the vineyards for these two travel enthusiasts. As the proposal took place in Polynesia, the décor was imagined in correlation with their history and tastes.

Timeline of the day & style

It all started with a welcome party the day before at Château Réal. The couple were seduced by the intimate setting, perfect for a lunch, and an all-afternoon pool party with a small group.

The next day, preparations began in the château’s suites, with make-up and hair styling. Shuttles took guests from the venue, the various hotels, and the family château in Pauillac, to the church for a religious ceremony.

After the ceremony, guests were shuttled to Château Clerc-Milon. Hostesses awaited them for a champagne welcome on the Chai terrace. The cocktail reception featured a live band, culinary workshops, champagne and cocktail bars.

The couple and their guests moved to the reception tent in the heart of the vineyards, accompanied by a strolling band. Dinner began with a sommelier service. The evening ended on the dance-floor with a live band.

The next day, brunch was served at Château Clerc-Milon. A relaxed garden party, with table soccer, games and “market-style” food stalls.
